What stays on your device

Your saved places, planned trip, and preferences are stored only in your device's local browser storage. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us. Uninstalling the app or clearing site data removes it permanently.

Anonymous usage analytics

Vercel Analytics — measures anonymous, aggregate usage (like which pages get visited) so we can improve the app. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't collect personal data, and can't identify you individually.

Third-party services you may open

Some features link out to third-party services, which have their own privacy policies:

• Google Maps — used for turn-by-turn navigation and nearby-place search, opened directly in your Maps app or browser.
• Open-Meteo — used to fetch live weather forecasts for the destination you are viewing.
• Wikimedia Commons — used to load destination and listing photos.

These requests go directly from your device to those services; we do not proxy, log, or see them.

Advertising in the Android app

The free version of the Android app shows a small banner advertisement served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device advertising ID and similar technical data to choose and measure ads. In Europe, the UK and Switzerland the app first shows Google's consent form and you can change your choice at any time from the language settings. Discover Albania Pro removes all advertising. You can reset or turn off the advertising ID in your Android settings.
